Sunday Gathering I:
Via ZOOM (emphasis) and in-person at the RMMC.
Topic: Kindness
Ray’s comments and ACIM references:
Ken Wapnick has published two books on kindness, emphasizing that being kind is synonymous with being loving. And on page one in volume one (The Healing Power of Kindness: Volume One: Releasing Judgment) he emphasizes that in the following quote is Jesus is inferring that his love always included his kindness. and love is never unkind:“Teach not that I died in vain. ⁴Teach rather that I did not die by demonstrating that I live in you.” (ACIM, T-11.VI.7:3-4)“³Holiness created me holy.
⁴Kindness created me kind.
⁵Helpfulness created me helpful.
⁶Perfection created me perfect.” (ACIM, W-67.2:3-6)“Father, Your Name is Love and so is mine.” (ACIM, W-282.2:1)
My personal interpretation of this is that God is Unconditional Love (because “… love does not condemn …” (ACIM, T-18.VI.4:8), and therefore so are we, and when we are finally unconditionally loving (resulting from accepting the Atonement and being ego-free), that’s when, being absolutely One with God, we wake up from the dream.
